The Meek family was a typical English family. Both parents working to pay the bills and foremost to pay the mortgage of the house which they shared with their school-going 2 daughters.

Then in the summer of 2014, they changed it. Pretty dramatically. They both quit their jobs, took their girls out of the school and sold their house. Then they started their “one year or more” road adventure touring the UK in a caravan!

Sounds pretty crazy and irresponsible thing to do right? Why did they do that? How do they arrange their finances? How about the education of the kids? How do they spend their time?

You will find the answers in their interview with the Guardian newspaper and their lively blog “DoTryThisAtHome.com“.
